Itinerary description

A beautiful track between Bosco Chiesanuova and Valdiporro which crosses some characteristic districts of council territory. The departure can be from the car park close to the Santa Margherita church, between Hotel Lessinia and the school which years ago was the barracks for soldiers of the First World War; after the petrol station you will follow the signals for CAI sentiero 251, crossing a big grassland and the street toward Cenise di Sopra e di Sotto. Cenise di Sotto is well-finished and smart thanks to the residents. In a old stable, transformed in a museum you can see the instruments and tools used in the past every day.

Going on toward Valdiporro you will flank a abandoned ice-house which crosses Val d'Orso, a stone building; when you will arrive in Valdiporro you go on toward Grobberi and Dosso. You will see immediately an old hut, a "memorial" of breeders of “far formajo”. Some crosses, recesses and capitals lead the walkers until the grasslands, where you will immerse in a dense wood close to a trail, signaled with turn signals.

Before to arrive in Valle dell'Orso you will reach the ruins of Gusse, cimbro toponym; you will take a forest road inside a beech wood recently cleaned, which leads you to Comperli; from here you follow the track toward Bosco Chiesanuova to reach the departure's point.
